I am a journalist
who writes with brutal facts
who dreams of a just and peaceful world.
A crusader for justice
who is ready to risk life for truth
who wishes to die defending
the rights of the oppressed.
Journalism is not just a job
but a fulfilling career I love.
As a journalist
I believe that social progress
must accompany social justice.
I write because this is my way
of showing my concern to others.
I write to serve not for profit
but for truth and justice.
And I'll swear to do this
against all odds
because
I am a journalist.
